Friday, Class 3 at Osbournby Primary School got the chance to quiz Stephen Phillips on what it's like to be an MP and the challenges of his job representing our community in Westminster. Stephen told pupils at the school about the unexpected aspects of the job of MP which he had not anticipated, as well as the more mundane aspects of life away from Lincolnshire during the week. Amongst the difficult questions Stephen had to deal with, were some relating to what he thinks he has achieved since 2010 and what his plans are for the future. But asked his favourite part of the job, our MP pointed to coming home on a Friday and visiting schools like this one! "Class 3 were kind enough to write to me to ask me to come and tell them about what I actually do, " Stephen said. "There are clearly some budding politicians here, because they have given me even more difficult questions than I get in the week down in London."

Welcome, and thanks for visiting my website. On 6th May 2010, I was elected by an overwhelming majority of more than 50% of voters as the Member of Parliament for the Sleaford and North Hykeham Constituency. It's a great honour to have this responsibility of fighting for this beautiful part of Lincolnshire and I hope that my website will answer any questions you have. You'll find some information about me, about what I and my party stand for and about how to get in touch. Please don't hesitate to do so: what matters to you matters to me. I'm passionately committed to serving the interests of all of our community as best as I can.
