RAF College Cranwell

Stephen Phillips QC MP and other guests were kindly hosted by the new Commandant of the RAF College at Cranwell in a moving sunset ceremony to celebrate the official birthday of HM the Queen. The Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment entertained guests with a medley of tunes well known to all those who have served, before the Royal Air Force Ensign was brought down to mark the end of the day. Speaking after the ceremony, Stephen thanked the Commandant and those who made the evening so special, adding a personal tribute to the work that the College carries out in educating new RAF officers. "The College has been serving our country and the Royal Air Force since 1919, training the young men and women who come here to Lincolnshire to become the leaders our armed forces need," Stephen said. "Neither the pride which we all feel in having such an important national institution in the heart of our community nor the excellence which has been on show tonight, as it always is, can be overstated."

Welcome

Welcome, and thanks for visiting my website.  On 6th May 2010, I was elected by an overwhelming majority of more than 50% of voters as the Member of Parliament for the Sleaford and North Hykeham Constituency.  It's a great honour to have this responsibility of fighting for this beautiful part of Lincolnshire and I hope that my website will answer any questions you have.  You'll find some information about me, about what I and my party stand for and about how to get in touch.  Please don't hesitate to do so: what matters to you matters to me.  I'm passionately committed to serving the interests of all of our community as best as I can.
