Bassingham School Gardens

Through the generosity of Cargill and parents at the school, children and staff at Bassingham Primary School will now enjoy two new gardens opened on Friday by local MP, Stephen Phillips. Both these beautiful new gardens – one Japanese, the other based on an African theme with a keyhole bed in traditional African style – have been months in preparation, and offer pupils and teachers an oasis in which to learn and relax outside the classroom. Opening the gardens, Stephen Phillips said, "I just want to congratulate everyone who has been involved in the creation of these special spaces which add so much to an already wonderful school. It's been a thrill for me to see how the hard work which everyone has put in has paid off and I know that these wonderful facilities will give pleasure to all of you for years to come."

Welcome

Welcome, and thanks for visiting my website.  On 6th May 2010, I was elected by an overwhelming majority of more than 50% of voters as the Member of Parliament for the Sleaford and North Hykeham Constituency.  It's a great honour to have this responsibility of fighting for this beautiful part of Lincolnshire and I hope that my website will answer any questions you have.  You'll find some information about me, about what I and my party stand for and about how to get in touch.  Please don't hesitate to do so: what matters to you matters to me.  I'm passionately committed to serving the interests of all of our community as best as I can.
